1. DATA COLLECTION
myOOTD collects clothing and outfit images you choose to upload, basic account information such as your email address and name, subscription status, and feature-usage records needed to operate the service. If you enable weather-based styling, we process the location you provide or permit the app to access. You may instead search for a city.
2. CLOTHING DATA & AI TRAINING
Images of clothing items are processed to identify garment details, create closet cutouts, and generate styling suggestions. myOOTD does not sell your images or use them to build advertising profiles. Images are sent to our service providers only when needed to provide the feature you requested.
3. USER RIGHTS
You can delete individual closet and try-on images in the app, or delete your account from Settings. Account deletion removes your active account data and stored images. Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, financial reporting, or legal compliance.
4. DATA SHARING & ANALYTICS
We share only the information needed to operate myOOTD with service providers described below. This includes sending selected images and styling instructions to AI providers when you request analysis or generation, and sharing an account identifier and purchase status with RevenueCat to manage subscriptions.
5. SECURITY
We use access controls, private image storage, short-lived image links, encrypted network connections, and other safeguards designed to protect your digital wardrobe. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. PHOTOS OF YOU & TRY-ON FEATURES
To power virtual try-on, myOOTD processes photos you upload that may include your face and body. These photos are used to create the personalized result you request. We do not sell these photos or use your likeness for advertising. You may delete uploaded reference photos in the app. Where applicable law requires additional consent or disclosure for processing this imagery, we will provide it before processing.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
We use trusted third-party providers to operate MyOOTD, including Clerk (authentication), Supabase (data and image storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), and AI providers (such as OpenAI and Google) for garment classification and image generation. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments, and only receive the data necessary to perform their function.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
MyOOTD is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@myootdapp.com and we will delete it.
9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to opt out of certain data uses (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the EU/UK GDPR, and similar laws). To exercise these rights, contact us at support@myootdapp.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. DATA RETENTION
We retain your account data and digital wardrobe for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes within the app where required by law. Continued use of MyOOTD after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
